![]() Unfortunately I don't have the tools to carry out a scan/diagnostics, but any info you can offer will be appreciated. ![]() The vehicle had already been booked at BMW for this coming Thursday for a few items, and now I will include this to the list, but I wanted to know from you fellow fanatics if there is anything else I can do, like battery reset, etc. No idea what that means, but maybe it is helpful. Then if I hold the "BC" button down for +-5 seconds the following "CC - ID 97" comes up below the airbag light. Also, when I go onto the OBC and do a "check" the airbag light comes on. Then the stalk to position 1, sprinkle water to test. just pop the cover off and take a look to make sure the sensor is plugged in and also attached to the windshield. Now I checked the belt tensioner system by pulling hard on the seatbelt, and that seems to working fine. Last edited by IcemanBHE 08-13-2010 at 08:27 PM. Only that there is a possibility that the airbag and/or belt tensioner system has malfunctioned, and that it must be taken to BMW ASAP. I looked in the manual and it doesn't say much. I didn't crash or anything, it just came on while cruising through town. Yesterday while driving my airbag and seatbelt light came on simultaneously. Before you shoot me, I did do a search, but since the word "light" has been mentioned tens of thousands of times, I gave up after reading for about 30 minutes.
